much more than just poses

Yoga means "union" and through movement, breathing and meditation, yoga strives to bring the body, soul, and mind together in harmony to realize your true nature.

At doces massage + yoga we focus on the practice of yoga breathing (also known as pranayama) giving you the power to directly affect your nervous system any time so you can relax, restore, or revive on your own terms.

about me 1.png

I have been practicing massage therapy since graduating from Cortiva School of Massage in 2010. In early 2021 I became a Registered Yoga Teacher and quickly fell in love with breathwork. Following that passion, in October of 2021, I became a Certified Breath Coach.

Since becoming a bodyworker, I have seen first hand the power of self care through yoga and breathwork - for both myself and my clients. The work that happens between massage sessions is vital to realize the maximum benefits of massage.

In my free time, you can find me birdwatching with my cats, climbing mountains on Orcas Island, or jumping the local sidewalk chalk hopscotch. Wherever there is fun or adventure to be found, that's where I will be!

Q: Are you vaccinated for Covid-19?

A: Yes. I received the Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccination on March 11, 2021, and the Pfizer booster on November 7, 2021.

Q: Do I need to wear a mask during my appointment?

A: Yes. Regardless of vaccination status, the Washington State Department of Health still requires masks that cover your mouth and your nose to be worn during a massage session. Thank you for continuing to wear a mask until this requirement is lifted.

Q: Do I have to undress for my massage session?

A: No. My number one goal is for you to feel safe and secure during the entirety of your session. You may undress to your comfort level, and however you define that, you will be covered and your modesty preserved during your massage. Some people prefer to undress, some people prefer to stay clothed. It's always your choice.
